Welcome to College of Alameda! Congratulations on taking the first step on your journey towards achieving your academic and career goals. College of Alameda is a small college with a lot to offer including fields of study designed to support your transfer to a four-year college or university, graduate with a Certificate or Associate Degree or to lead to gainful employment.
The Student Services Division includes departments and programs designed to support you along your journey towards meeting your goals. To support your entry as a student, the office of Admission and Records, Financial Aid and the Welcome Center (Counseling) are available to support your enrollment and provide financial assistance.
Our College of Alameda College Promise Program supports all Alameda Unified and Oakland Unified high school graduates providing dedicated counseling and free enrollment for the first two years of college. In addition, we have specialized programs for first generation college students, foster youth, veterans, students with disabilities, formerly incarcerated and CalWORKs students. Finally, student engagement departments such as Student Life and Campus Activities and office as well as Athletics provide opportunities for students to engage in events and activities.
College of Alameda offers two learning communities including UMOJA for African American students and Puente and the ACCESO Center for Latinx students. These programs provide dedicated counseling and support as well as dedicated classes per cohort.
