Come and Meet 3 Women #Shecanics who will share their stories. 

*Jamice Jones,  the first female automotive apprentice for the City of San Francisco, started her career as a single mom receiving public assistance. She now earns $41.40 per hour in a union position with more pay raises to come…she attended College of Alameda and had no prior automotive experience.

*Monica Baeza, a Senior Equipment Mechanic at Port of Oakland earning $100k+

*Juliet Hadid,  a current COA Diesel Mechanic Student

Did you know there’s an extreme shortage of Diesel Mechanics? 

Students in College of Alameda’s Diesel program are placed into jobs that pay $26 to $35 per hour to start – with only a certificate. Master Mechanics make up to $100k+!

You can earn a better salary, gain confidence in yourself, and do meaningful work. No automotive experience required!
