Emergency Food GRant

EMERGENCY FOOD GRANT

Grant Amount: $300.00, one-time grant provided as a gift cards for Safeway

Purpose: Groceries

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Home campus must be College of Alameda
  • Must be enrolled in at least three (3) units at College of Alameda
  • Have not received Emergency Food Grant in prior semesters
  • High school special enrollment students are NOT eligible for Emergency Food Grants

emergency aid grant: project Success

Through our funding partner ECMC, this grant of up to $500 is available to students that have encountered a sudden unforeseen circumstance that will negatively impact their education if not addressed.

Students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • CoA is their home campus
  • Enrolled in 6 units at CoA
  • 2.0 GPA
  • Written Statement and Documentation of sudden unforeseen circumstance and supporting bills/expenses.

To apply for an Emergency Aid Grant, students should make an appointment with their counselor by calling 510-748-2209.
