Next UP Program is for current and former foster youth. Helping foster youth boost their confidence and abilities to become successful in college by offering a range of services and resources to help current and former foster youth. The program provides comprehensive counseling for academic, career and personal support. In addition, the Next Up Program provides grants towards mental health payment assistances, rental assistances, and transportation, priority registration, learn life skills and financial skills through workshops, and on-campus job placement.
Who is Next UP Program for?
- Current and former foster youth
How to qualify for Next Up Program?
- Dependency as a foster youth established or continued by the court on or after your 13th birthday
- Under 26 years old at the start of the academic year
- Enrolled in a least 9 units (or plan to enroll in at least 9 units
