INTRODUCTION
This is a short orientation about the College of Alameda. You will be contacted for an EOPS, CARE, CalWORKs, Next Up and/or SALAAM Orientation. The mandatory orientation occurs two weeks before the start of the term for those that have been approved and accepted in the EOPS Program. If you have not received an invitation, please contact us at 510-748-2219.
Here is what you need to do next:
- Register for the mandatory orientation, if you application has been approved for EOPS, either on-line or at the EOPS Front Desk, Building A.
- Attend the scheduled orientation for EOPS, CARE, CalWORKs, Next UP and/or SALAAM.
- Be prepared to discuss what you learned at the orientation with your Academic Counselor during your first counseling meeting.
